The concept

The branding project for Appu G centred around creating a visually cohesive identity that communicated the brand's story. This was achieved through a combination of design elements that drew inspiration from Ganesha and Indian culture, presented with a modern aesthetic.

The problem

Appu G, a jewellery brand,  sought to capture the essence of Ganesha, the beloved Hindu deity, in a modern and sophisticated way. They needed a brand identity that communicated their core values of gentleness, impact, and cultural connection. Their goal was to create a brand identity that resonated with a global audience while staying true to its Indian roots.

The visual identity of Appu G successfully communicates the brand story through a harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and traditional Indian motifs. 

The use of green, symbolizing mindfulness and progress, served as a reminder of achieving success in harmony with nature. A touch of pink, inspired by the lotus flower, added a touch of youthful energy and artistic flair.The logo itself featured a blossoming lotus silhouette, emphasizing the unity and interconnectedness that Appu G values. This design mirrored the lotus flower's ability to achieve full bloom only when each petal exists in perfect harmony. The project also incorporated a set of simple and attractive icons to represent different product categories. These icons added intrigue and visual interest, further enhancing the brand identity. The lotus pattern, incorporated throughout the brand's visual communication, reinforces the brand's inspiration and adds depth and sophistication.

By combining the different elements, the Appu G branding project effectively translates the brand story into a cohesive visual language. The final visual brand identity is both modern and deeply rooted in Indian tradition. This successful communication strategy allows Appu G to resonate with a wider audience while staying true to its cultural heritage

They believe companies should invest in improving society and look for solutions that assist in those improvements.Companies should share how they are trying to make a positive impact on the world, so the public can see their pro-social initiatives. Showcasing efforts is key so it’s important to learn how to market to millennials because these efforts will sway the choices they make as consumers.Millennials also like to take part in initiatives such as volunteer work or making donations. As ever more companies begin to see the impact their socially and environmentally conscious efforts have on a consumer’s perception, the more chance there is that they will begin initiatives.
